SCHOOL-BASED ORAL HEALTH PROGRAM 1 Our School-Based Dental Sealant Program provides on-site preventative dental care for over 90 schools and childcare centers in Pierce County. Working with Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department and Puget Sound Educational Service District, we offer services and education to over 45,000 children per year. At our school dental days, we provide:

• Oral health screenings to identify decay and other dental needs,
• Fluoride varnish to strengthen and protect teeth as they develop, and
• Sealant applications to reduce the chances of children developing decay on their molars.

Our goal is to ensure children in our community are starting their lives off with healthy mouths.

At the bottom of this page are the districts and schools for whom we provide service. At this time, we only provide dental days through this program at those sites. You can check with your child’s school office to see when we will be there!

If your child attends one of the schools below and you would like to sign them up for our program, review the information documents and complete a Parent Permission Form. Please turn in the permission form to your child’s school office. If our program days for your child’s school have passed, we may not return within the school year.

We have Dental Emergency walk-in hours at all of our clinics:
Monday thru Saturday: 6:30 AM – 10 AM and 12:30 PM – 3 PM
