On Monday, January 15, 2024, we celebrated Martin Luther King, Jr. Day (MLK Day), a national holiday that commemorates the life and legacy of this great civil rights leader.

The month of November is nationally recognized as Native American Heritage Month. We are celebrating alongside our Indigenous patients, staff, and community members.

This weekend, the nation and our community will celebrate Juneteenth. On June 19, 1865, the enslaved African American people of Galveston, Texas, learned they were free from bondage.
